Ibis Budget Lyon Caluire Cité Internationale

It's located in a good area with some good local eateries, a few stores and on Sunday there is a local flea market, you can walk down to the river. The staff were also really nice we went twice on our trip down to Italy once in summer, it was very hot but we had good AC and once In winter, it was cold so we asked staff for a heater and they gave us one which made the room warm. Also there is a bus stop right out front.

The location was great as the buses and trams were right on the doorstep. There are small supermarkets and cafes down the road from the Ibis so you can get everything you need. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and put the rugby on for us in the guest's area. We enjoyed staying here as it's convenient to public transport, the big Park, and only 10 minutes to the city.

Clean room, daily housekeeping and towels changing. Basic but sufficient breakfast. Comfortable bed for 1 person, for two maybe little bit small. Adjustable air condition. Cogress centre in walking distance (15 minutes).

Obviously a budget hotel but clean and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast for a 2 star hotel. Laundry close by.
